It’s a Cinderella Story!

It was all she ever imagined, the night when everything was bright and all right,
Her dreams like soaring kite, a ball with her knight, but was everything supposed to end at midnight?
“Oh God! can you please stop the tick, I got my moment to cherish” she wished albeit with sceptic.
She got closer and felt his warmth, dancing and kissing under the exhilaration of his arms.
Life was like a song, world didn’t matter and she found herself beautiful under his charm.
The final minute of togetherness, then all affections, feeling and oneness has to dwelve and unshelve,
Few tears and kisses, a hug and heavy heart, but she couldn’t say anything when the clock struck twelve.
She ran without looking back to save her glory, and cried and cried with her helpless Cinderella story.

The prince was aghast, stunned and ransacked, his princess was gone before he could react,
He looked around among other maidens but none gave him the leap in his heart or could attract.
His heart started to sink with a deep noise, “What will I do with all this money, if I can’t get the love of my choice?”
She left him all alone as if a drunkard ripper, he felt broken, sad and tears rolled out as he picked up her only glass slipper.
From hut to hut, door to door he searched to turn the tide, he will soon meet her and make her his bride.

Cinderella was back to her bed shivering, sulking and void, “Will the prince ever find me?”, she wondered annoyed.
It’s all about money, the millionaire always enjoys, “What will I do with all this beauty, if I can’t get the love of my choice?”
Thousand questions ran through her mind, inside she was twisted and unkind, but none could convince her combined.
She gave up and slept drowning in her tears, rejecting her thought that the prince could ever be here.

Next morning the sun rose up from the cloud, “The prince is searching for the girl whose feet fits the glass slipper”, someone said in the crowd.
The next moment there was a knock, the voice outside made her heart dance with different colors of peacock.
As soon as she stepped outside, the prince knew there she was, the love song went sweet and there was soon an applause.
They hugged each other in colors which are tight and warm, like a rainbow when the cloud of tears are over and gone.

Behind the scene in the prince convoys, there was a face which went on silent tears,
She had loved the prince from her childhood till now when the life changed different gears.
She wasn’t wealthy nor beautiful, so she never raised her voice, it wasn’t possible for her to get the love of her choice.
Somewhere she was happy when his prince got her finally, feelings don’t change even when you love someone silenty.
She raised a toast amongst the crowd with her great skills of oratory, “Congrats to the prince and the princess! it’s the great Cinderella story.”
